Z Club

Zonta International established the Z Club program in 1948 because it believes in investing in youth development to change the lives of women and girls now and for generations to come. The program aims to promote Zonta International’s mission to secondary/high school students inspiring them to organize meaningful student-led service and advocacy activities designed to meet the needs of their members, school, and community. Through the services/projects/activities, students develop communication and leadership skills, explore career alternatives, and increase their international awareness and understanding.

Apart from each Z Club having its own student-led projects, the Club’s Z Club Committee also organizes events and activities for Z Club members. Annual events include the Joint School Meeting, Installation Ceremony, and the LegCo Mock Debate. In addition, the Committee designs and launches special activities to support Zonta International such as the ‘Zonta Says No to Violence Against Women’ campaign and its education awards and scholarships.

Zonta Club of Hong Kong sponsors a Z Club in the following six schools: Good Hope School, Hong Kong International School, St. Mary’s Canossian College, St. Paul’s Convent School, St. Stephen’s Girls’ College and True Light Girls’ College.
