Zonta Says No to Violence Against Women
We sponsored a personality test with consultation session for women in need. Small groups of 4 were arranged. This replaced a talk to prevent family violence and advise on anger management.

Via Zoom, an educational talk was presented where a social worker was on hand to share how to manage negative emotions and prevent family conflicts. Many participants were willing to share their experiences and thoughts during these difficult times.

Handicrafts workshop where women learnt how to make handicrafts to enhance creativity, relieve stress and pressure and create “Me Time” for themselves. This forum also facilitated mutual support.

Personality tests with consultation sessions for women in need were conducted. Small groups of 4 were arranged with the help of one volunteer.
Through learning Pastel Nagomi Art, women learnt how to release stress, increase self-esteem and give each other social support.
Mooncakes Donation by the Zonta Club of Hong Kong in collaboration with the Hong Kong Family Welfare Society
The Mid-Autumn Festival Event 花燈：家添愛, a meaningful event in September 2020 was cancelled due to the pandemic. However, the fervent wish to donate mooncakes to families who cannot afford them remains. A total of 85 boxes of mooncakes was collected from Zonta Club of HK members and distributed to the Women and Family Enhancement Centre of the Hong Kong Family Welfare Society.
Nora Leung, President of the Zonta Club of HK and Connie Yau, Centre-in-charge of the Women and Family Enhancement Centre presided at the Donation Ceremony at the Women and Family Enhancement Centre on 29 September 2020. In line with social distancing guidelines, only a few families with children were invited to attend to represent the beneficiaries. The wonder and delight on the faces of the children present was a joy to behold.
