Installation Committee

The Installation Ceremony of the 2018-2020 Board took place on 30 May 2018 at The Hong Kong Bankers Club in The Landmark. The event was attended by 35 club members. Guests included Dr. Chui Tak Yi, JP, Under Secretary for Food and Health Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, who attended on behalf of our Patron, Professor Sophia Chan, JP, Secretary for Food and Health who was unable to attend, Mrs. Selina Chow GBS, OBE, JP, our Guest of Honor, representatives from the China Liaison Office and HKSKH Lady MacLehose Centre, Mrs. Teresa Lin, District Governor Elect (2018-2020) of Zonta International District 17 and other Zontian Dignitaries as well as presidents and members of our sister clubs in Hong Kong.

The Ceremony commenced with a Review of the 2016-2018 Biennium by our outgoing President Doris Chu. This was followed by the Keynote Address by our Guest of Honor, Mrs. Selina Chow. The Installation of the officers and directors of the new Board was conducted by Mrs. Teresa Lin (DG Elect 2018-2020 for District 17). The newly installed President, Yolanda Yeh, concluded the Ceremony with her inaugural speech.

After the Ceremony, the evening continued with dinner and the presentation of the 100% Attendance Awards to our Members who qualified for the award as well as a souvenir to our Club’s Honorary Auditor, William Po & Co.

The evening marked the end of another successful biennium of our Club and the beginning of a new biennium under the leadership of our new President and the new Board.
