District Conference 2025

The Zonta Club of Hong Kong has established a robust organizing committee for the inaugural event. Their unwavering support and diligent efforts in the preparation have culminated in a highly successful dinner, receiving numerous positive comments. This event has provided a remarkable experience for all attending Zontians over the three days spent in Macau from 26-28 September 2025. We extend our gratitude to the team for their invaluable contributions and support.

Due to Typhoon Ragasa, the pre-event Z and Golden Z Forum on September 24 took place on Zoom. Organized by Pauline Ng and Eva Ip, the event attracted 790 participants.

The District Conference Committee put in a lot of hard work over the past year, resulting in a successful conference. Yolanda is the Vice Chair, and Kathy, Pauline, and I are part of the organizing committee.

Our Club held a fantastic flag parade for 92 clubs from six areas, led by Linda Wang and her team, with support from the Boy Scouts and Club Zontians.

The Opening Gala team, guided by Kathy, received great feedback about our arrangements. This included seating, decorations, the program, souvenirs, and photo-taking. Special thanks to our wonderful MCs, Joyce and Eva, and to Floor Manager June for keeping the dinner program running smoothly. We also enjoyed a great performance from Zontian Louise and energetic dancing at the end led by Sharon, which created a lively atmosphere. The gala dinner was fun and successful, with our Club having the highest attendance of 36 people. Overall, there were 432 guests at the dinner.

On Day 2, Pauline Ng and Eva Ip led 4 well-attended workshops.

Along with the fun and friendships, I want to share our fantastic achievements. Our Club has won 4 awards at the district conference:
