Our Work

Serve & Broaden Awareness in Secondary & High Schools

Z Club

Zonta International established the Z Club program in 1948 with the belief that investing in youth development is essential to improving the lives of women and girls—now and for generations to come. The program aims to promote Zonta International’s mission among secondary and high school students by inspiring them to lead meaningful service and advocacy initiatives that benefit their members, school, and community. Through these student led projects and activities, Z Club members develop communication and leadership skills, volunteer at community centres that serve the underprivileged and broaden their global awareness and understanding. In addition to each Z Club’s own projects, the Z Club Committee organizes events, visits and activities for all Z Club members. The Committee also leads initiatives that support Zonta International, such as the “Zonta Says No to Violence Against Women” campaign and encourages students to apply for Zonta International’s educational awards. The Zonta Club of Hong Kong sponsors Z Clubs in the following six schools: Good Hope School, Hong Kong International School, St. Mary’s Canossian College, St. Paul’s Convent School, St. Stephen’s Girls’ College, and True Light Girls’ College.
