The Program Committee works to create programs and events to keep alive our Zontian spirit of forever learning, enabling us to continually fulfil our mission of Empowerment and Services as we move into this ever-changing age.

    The 2022-2024 biennium for Zonta Club of Hong Kong started with our 50th-anniversary celebrations and what more to sustain this special milestone than with our continued commitment to bringing inspiring and thought-provoking Programs to fellow Zontians? Our Programs shall present today’s influential and inspiring speakers to address current societal developments in innovation, trends, culture, and climate issues and perhaps with a gender lens where we can make a difference.

    On 25th February 2025, we have invited Mr Tommie Lo Founder and CEO of Preface as our guest speaker. He pioneered an innovative business model that provides up-to date education in coding and technology. He presented on the Topic “Is AI too good to be true, What is next in 2025?” He gave a very genuine and insightful sharing on the current AI landscape and what we can all do to get educated in the space. The talk was well received by our 34 members and 2 guests.

    On the 15th of April 2025, We have invited Miss Vicky Chan director of Continental Diamond as our guest speaker. Vicki Chan is the CEO and creative Director of Continental Diamond. She is the Executive Director of Continental Holdings Limited. A public listed Company in Hong Kong. Ms Chan has 30 years of experience in the jewellery trade ranging from wholesale, manufacturing and retailing of fine jewellery. She spoke on the topic of “Appreciation of fancy colour diamond and treasure gems.” There was also a display of diamonds and precious stones during the meeting. Members enjoyed her talk and expressed that the talk widened our knowledge of coloured diamonds and precious stones. They were 25 members and 1 prospective member attended the meeting.

    On 13 January we had the pleasure of having Ms Christina Gaw, Managing Principal of Gaw Capital, giving a fire-chat hosted by June Wong. The session was well attended with some 33 members and 4 guests joining. The discussion content was wide-ranging: from women leadership, to the journey of Gaw Capital transforming from a single asset class real estate specialist to a multi-asset global presence, but also property sector outlook for Hong Kong and China – a favorite for many members. The discussions were engaging and a lot of ground was covered in the 45-minute session.
  • Jennifer Ma – Paradigm Shifts in Global University Pathways

    Our 5th General meeting took place on Oct 21 2025. Ms Jennifer Ma, Former Group Chief Strategy Officer for CTF Education Group. Spoke about “Paradigm Shifts in Global University Pathways”. There were 30 attendees and the talk was well received.
